Liam Gallagher

I beg to differ - I like it.

If it had been released by the fab four it would be heralded as a work of genius..........
I grew up with The Beatles on at home and nothing on Be Here Now would make it on their records.

Oasis were my first very favourite band and Be Here Now was a poor album. Live Forever or Don’t Look Back In Anger are classic anthems. Stand By Me is not.

As posted earlier, Scorpio Rising is progression Oasis never made. Dig Out Your Soul was a return to form.

For all the stuck Ian Brown gets regarding his voice (never mind his being a knob), he is actually the talented songwriter out of that group. Squires solo album is abysmal and there are probably 3 decent Seahorses tunes.
The 2 he has released with Liam are crap and he would have been laughed out of town if he had got another busker to sing them. The fact it is Liam singing has given them some kudos. They are not great songs though. They would not even have made a b side, of either of their bands, when are their peak.

The Beatles borrowed from all the previous generations they openly admit to imitating “Buddy Holly” Dylan Donovan particularly their early stuff, later they worked with George Martin who helped them progress into the talented bunch they became.

Oasis and the Roses are bands I think should get a lot of credit Noel as a songwriter is equal to anything penned by John and Paul in their early years IMO
Liam is the best singer and frontman as anyone that went before and John Squire a very talented guitarist Squire and Liam together will make a decent vinyl
