I have not seen much about the actual player Liam Smith on this thread. BBC were reporting he's a defender but other reports including the normally reliable Transfermarkt say he's a left winger. Talk in some publications of helping to fill a void if Sane leaves. Anyone seen him play?

I've also seen reports that he's a left back just to confuse matters. I've been trying to find a Killie supporter up here to ask but they both seem to be in hiding.

Just trying to think who was the last TOP Quality Scottish player that played for City.
Leaving aside Paul Dickov as not being top quality ,would Colin Hendry be the classed as top quality.
Or do we have to go back to the 70s with the likes of Asa Hartford or Willie Donachie?
