He scored two goals for City in one and a bit seasons! He was a Joe Mercer signing as well. He was long past his best when he arrive. He scored a great goal against Bristol City in a 2-2 draw at Maine Road but not much after that.Ralph Brand, a goal machine. That worked out well!

Manchester City kept an eye on Denayer's progress at Celtic, with Development Sidecoach Patrick Vieira stating "When I watch Jason playing for Celtic, or Marcos Lopes playing at Lille, it makes us really proud. The way they are performing lets [sic] me know we are doing things the right stuff [sic]", and adding "The object is to provide players for the first team, but we know the gap is massive from under-21 to the first team – but this is one way we can get them there

Has anyone mentioned Bobby McDonald that Bond brought in? Or Gordon Smith - very talented, elegant player, though I haven't forgiven him for missing that late sitter for Brighton that would have beaten Utd at Wembley. (and no votes for Matt Busby!)

I suspect that he may not have moved permanently because he is still under contract at City. Maybe he is reluctant to take a pay cut that would come from a permanent transfer.
