Then I think Channel 4 should have clarified the details of each case. If there was no 3rd man then they should say

A problem is that because they are in for life the fuckers have nowt to lose from being trouble on the inside, we all know what happened at strangeways when you have a population who are pissed off and have nothing to keep them occupied.

Lets face it these are the sort of guys who are not going to sit around and read war and peace to pass the time they need the stuff like gym or pool to keep them occupied, if anything for the protection of the prison officers and shrinks etc who have to take care of them.

The prison on this show did look cushy though, only difference on the outside being we have to pay for our gym membership - and we might have a PS3 rather than a PS2

I watched a Louis Theroux documentary focusing on Lifers over in the states, majorally being Black guys... They shared rooms with each other, the conditions looked fucking shit - Yet the murder rate over their is far more worse than here....

This for me suggests it isn't down to the Prison conditions either, so Brick beds and no TV's isn't the answer.

Prison is a reflection of society, many crimes being related to selfishness, jealousy, desperation etc etc....

Bring in the Lethal Injection and I can guarantee the crime rate will increase.

Funny how as the gap between the Rich and the Poor increases, crime increases.
