And it is shoehorning. How did we know that a middle aged white male wouldn't get the gig full time. Of course it is then on a rota basis with the majority of the chosen presenters to be female. Radical idea here; why not wait and see how she actually does (assuming the rumours of her landing the gig are correct). Not that it'll make a lot of difference to me. Haven't watched it in God knows how long; Sky Sports have 3-4 minute highlights packages on YT within an hour of the final whistle. With no inane guff to fill an hour.

Exactly, which is shy despite decent figures currently, I don't see it lasting with everybody having it at their fingertips, straight after a game, without having to listen to Shearer bore us with his analysis. Throwing a load of women in to present it will do it more harm than good.

1/3 of the time, then on the next revamp it will be none of the time. Slowly but surely everything is diluted without justification. Considering Chapman has done MOTD2 for as many years as he has, why wasn't he given the job solely? There you go

I thought it was pretty widely reported that Chapman declined the full time job since he's a single parent to his 2 kids after his wife's death a few years back. He doesn't want to spend every single Saturday away from his children.

Obviously someone as well read on these issues would be aware of that though...
