It would tho, people will always watch football no matter whatI think that was just curiosity value though. I personal don’t think it would keep up enough viewers to justify its existence, if that became the norm.

Not a fan then?People will watch it regardless of the smug twat who currently hosts it. It's just a thing growing up in this country, you watch MOTD. Once the smug **** leaves it will still be watched in big numbers.
Same, i fell out of love with the game when var was brought in , i stopped watching all games but ours , given we know how they edit our games i have no time watching the same done to the other gamesnot watched it for going on 3 years, highlights are always badly edited and the pundits mainly dicks
I miss the days (70s-90s) when it was compulsive viewing and pretty much the only highlights package available, but there are just too many alternatives now.not watched it for going on 3 years, highlights are always badly edited and the pundits mainly dicks
Same. 3 minute highlight clips available on YouTube within an hour of the final whistle. Without the need to listen to Shearer, Wright, Murphy, Richards et al spouting their inane waffle.not watched it for going on 3 years, highlights are always badly edited and the pundits mainly dicks
I probably gave it away. I've thought for a long time the programme would be better without him and the others. It has needed a refresh for a long time. Then he decided to voice his political opinions and I find him a condescending smug **** now.Not a fan then?
No doubt lots of Leah Williamson coverage shoe-horned in if that's the case.
They will make women's football popular no matter how much effort it takes. They are going to make it into a program that shows both male and female matches and are going to have a loose women like panel who gibber about anything but football.
I can see the BBC murdering this program like they did to Dr Who.
Now TV or Optus show all the games and goals on a sunday if theres a prem game onI have access to all the other channels but still like to watch Match of the Day most weeks. I suspect a lot of people are the same.
Maybe partly out of habit but also Sky have never really put together a similar type of highlights show, with all the goals from the day, with a bit of chatter.
They had that Sunday morning programme with Chris Kamara that was ok. But it went on for hours. Not really comparable to a neat little one hour or so package like MotD.
