Hmm I don't know any of the players personally, but how do you know they are Muslim?

I've seen a few players on this list displaying what I consider to be Christian prey over the years on the pitch.

But as for the issue you were trying to raise:

Yes I do think it may be more probable for City to employ or prefer to employ muslims, but not based on our owners choice but moreso based on The players lifestyle.

Not every Muslim is %100 clean in practice of their faith, but I think they will be more likely to give a better public image than say a Paul Gascoigne type christian.

Fuck me

Don't get so defensive.
Not trying to come up with some conspiracy theory.

I have always been surprised at the perceived lack of interest
In football from the Muslim community as I was growing up.

I believe we will be recruiting more and more into our own blue
Faith.

Bring it on.

LOL..most arabs are crazy about football, the muslim community you mention might be more concerned about cricket perhaps?

Do not want to go too far O.T.T. and come across as being overly xenophobic
But since 01/09/08 it could be construed that the first Arab owned football potential super
Power, as of yet, has not been invited to dine at the top table ( KAMB's own words)

Anyroad up

Btw you are aware that their is a prayer room at coms with prayer mats and the direction of Mecca. It is a multifaith room, however as Muslims have to perform obligatory prayers the stadium cater pretty well for this.

I am muslim and think this is a real nice touch from the club.

am i missing something here?
who gives a shit if they are muslims?

Samir Nasri is a non practicing muslim (wikipedia).
So is Benzema (I guess).
Someone here (maybe from Bosnia) said that Dzeko always partying and clubbing in Bosnia (I am sure the Yayas don't do something like this).
I am sure Zidane and Ibrahimovic were born as muslims too.

Vieira, Ade, Eto'o, Clichy, Drogba aren't muslims.
