According to the Mail we are offering cash plus Bernardo, Jesus and Garcia for Messi. Who makes that sort of crap up?

Not bloody likely. Bernardo's a brilliant player who will come back to his form of a year ago, and he "gets" City. Jesus will grow into at least a 25 goal a season striker and works damn hard for the team. Can't give up these two for Lionel Messi, an ageing genius who'd be one bad tackle by a thuggish defender away from missing five months of the season. And you know they'd be lining up eager to do him - remember when Ronaldo played for the rags at the Etihad and City's whatshisname had a go and felled him? (Old age catching up on me here, what WAS the bugger's name?)
