And Suarez is very rarely injured, unlike Sergio. They deemed Suarez too expensive, in reality.

Messi supported him but at the end of the day, if it is down to a legitimate sporting decision then Messi needs to leave.Does the guy that won the election mean anything in regards to the shortarse and his decision ?
Have some respect ffs.Does the guy that won the election mean anything in regards to the shortarse and his decision ?
Not another one lolHave some respect ffs.
ThanksMessi supported him but at the end of the day, if it is down to a legitimate sporting decision then Messi needs to leave.
Nobody knows how Barca can get out of the mess they are in, they are financially snowed under.
Considering you lose your shit if anyone disrespects Aguero or whoever else it is you’ve decided to get a lob on for that week. Not another one lol
Not on names , lighten up , it is not disrespect to him as a player , obvsConsidering you lose your shit if anyone disrespects Aguero or whoever else it is you’ve decided to get a lob on for that week.
I think this is the best of several first rate posts that you've contributed today, Billy. I have no knowledge of the situation so I can only base my con clusions on circumstantial evidence but I don't see that Sunday's election has changed the brutal facts of Barca's plight. Laporta may be a grade one kinda guy and Messi may well have voted for him and wish him well but he is approaching the end of his career and will want more than a palatable president and a buzz about PSG that may be destroyed ruthlessly and conclusively in 24 hours to tie himself to a skeleton the best part of a billion in debt, under pressure to slash its wage bill and satisfy La Liga that it can do this. I can't read his mind but the temptation to link up again with Pep and go out with a two year extravaganza of trophies must really be making itself felt. And I don't share the belief that Barca will never face the consequences of falling foul of FFP.For me this deal has always been about Pep. No-one else. Messi coming IMO will simply be about him wanting that final footballing flourish. If for whatever reason that doesn't happen and he stays in Barcelona, I just don't see how Laporta can pull it off, and I don't see why City wouldn't at that point hand Kun a new deal.
Because Sergio is three or four times the player Suarez was.Why would Barca want Sergio when they deemed Suarez too old? Sergio does seem to have 1 foot out the door. Pep won’t play him and is deflecting onto his injuries when asked why. I hope he has a final moment left this season befitting his status at the club.
Because Sergio is three or four times the player Suarez was.
Im a middle aged man these days and I shall shed a tear when the day comes to say Adios to Sergio. It doesn’t bear thinking about but whatever is best for Sergio. The man is a God amongst men.
On that point, what would you say classifies as “middle aged”? 36-59 do you think?Because Sergio is three or four times the player Suarez was.

36??? fucking hell..........at least make it 40 lolOn that point, what would you say classifies as “middle aged”? 36-59 do you think?
I’m in my 50s...just. Still feel 19 inside, but alas the body is no longer as willing as it used to be.On that point, what would you say classifies as “middle aged”? 36-59 do you think?
I would prefer 4936??? fucking hell..........at least make it 40 lol
Nail on the head. MLS. New York City?
There's more than one way to skin a cat.
Both clubs have crunched the numbers. And they will have approached various sponsors to see if they are willing to fund a %age of Messi's wages. Also with an eye on FFP.
Just out of interest, do you know what the prize money for winning Ligue 1 is? Can't find it anywhere. I'm normally pretty good at finding stuff on the interweb.
Thanks.
exactly how does that benefit us unless we are acutally 100% on getting a top class replacement.....Jesus has continuously failed to show he is at the level required as a goal scorerSergio is already a very rich man and I was told two months ago by someone very close to him that Barca were deadly serious.
It would make sense on a number of fronts, certainly the asking for a bigger signing on fee, which then could easily be spread across the lifetime of his deal to make it more affordable for Barca in terms of cash flow?
Say Sergio wants £15m signing fee, they could pay him £5m straight away, then tranches of £5m over the next couple of seasons.
United did something similar with Sanchez.
As I say, he's a very rich man and I'm sure he would rather agree £150k a week at somewhere like Barca and not spite his face.
It ticks all the boxes for him, from both an ego and lifestyle option.
I would be delighted for him.
We could then welcome both Sergio and Dave back for a joint goodbye testimonial.
I don’t think we’d not bother to tie him down if we couldn’t get a replacement. I’m sure it’s all being worked onexactly how does that benefit us unless we are acutally 100% on getting a top class replacement.....Jesus has continuously failed to show he is at the level required as a goal scorer
