Nice yes, but jesus christ Spanish defenders can be passive up against Messi. I don't know if that's from respect or orders from their managers.
That kind of goal is rarely seen in the PL. Silva's against Blackpool (wasn't it?) comes to mind.

Anyway, that's now three goals in one full game plus a sub. I think he's back more inspired and eager to perform, after his injury, personal problems and loosing out to Tranny in the Ballon d'Or.

I know it sounds like madness but I want the best all round central midfielder in the world and the best central defender in the world instead. No idea who they are but presuming Pellegrini would and could use the money there better.

With the goals we are scoring we'll attract enough media attention even without Messi.

If he comes I won't complain though :-).
