To be fair, aside from like amateur online blogs, is there any news source not biased towards a certain club?
Well that kind of misses the point of my post really bud. The point is MD are extremely bias towards Barca so their reporting should be taken on board with that in mind.

The dynamics are different in Spain i think. You have AS and Marca who are fervently pro Madrid and you have MD and Sport who are Barca's media outlets. The Spain vs Catalunya issue has shaped the media landscape largely along with where the outets are based. If you write for MD then it is set in stone you are pro Barca and vice versa with Marca and Madrid. The divisions are clear and amplified in Spain i think.

I think here it is more mixed and not going per publication but down to individuals. A good example would be Simon Mullock being a City reporter but the mirror also having plenty of anti City or pro x club pieces from other members of their staff. The mirror it's self is not allied with City. They have Stan Collymore as a contributor who is not exactly enamoured with City as a point.

It isn't difficult to comprehend that he plays because Pep decides so, it's just difficult to comprehend why, but all the greatest people in the World have flaws and unfortunately imo Gundogan is Peps blindspot. Doesn't mean I know better than Pep, it means I have eyes and can see a player that looks for an easy pass and shits out of tackles over and over again, if I had done that as a 12yr old I would have got subbed off.
100%

Gundogan is not my ideal midfielder and I'm not a huge fan. But it's naive to explain Pep's insistence on playing him just with Pep having a blindspot.

We had a severe injury crisis at CB meaning we needed a better protection from midfield in the form of a double pivot (Rodri + Gundy).

Many on here seem to have completely forgotten that Fernadinho was mostly injured during our run of 14 consecutive wins in the league that made us champions and that Gundogan did replace him at DM brilliantly meaning we conceded just 4 goals over the last 14 games.

So, unlike both Silvas, Gundogan could play with Rodri at DM. Our very best games last season involved both Rodri and Gundogan: Real away and home, Manure away in the cup, Liverpool home.

Pretending to see something better than Pep is like pretending to know better than the best chess player in the world why he loses games sometimes, e.g. by using one chess opening and not another. Chances are you'd be dead wrong. I think some fans don't really understand the huge difference between their knowledge of the game and Pep's. It's really huge.

He does as he is told.

That's it.

We all know that Barca are skint because of the tourism trade in Spain, they can probably pay the wages, but this is a good time to off load excess baggage that would have the fans in uproar if it were not for COVID, as many clubs have done. But what if Messi`s sponsors were also hit,Barca would have to find his full wages at a time there own Sponsors are struggling with payments.
Do not be surprised if City and Barca have an agreement in place to take Messi until the uplift of the Spanish economy 2 years ongoing

You talk as if he never gets things wrong.
