Put yourselves in the shoes of the messi camp. Could you trust a guy that had done all the rings he has done over the last years to messi, to others, lied about recruitment of players as well?
Then just as you are starting to negotiate this drops in - it’s all about trust right now and this will have dented the Barca position big time.
As I say - the timing is interesting.
I'd love to know where these new allegations have come from and if they're in any way related to info Messi has on Bartomeu. As you mentioned, given the timing it just feels too much of a coincidence for this to come to light now.
Whether any of this makes us more or less likely to sign him... who knows?!
