If it is right that Bart man has stated he will not be remembered as the President who sold Messi then I am assuming while he is there, no matter how many bids or for what amount (unless obscene), there will be no deal. I certainly can't see him contacting us inviting a bid. IMO this will not conclude at the end of this window, what happens in future will be down to the politics of Barca.

as much as id love to see messi at city i cant help but think it will be for the best eventually.we"d just become the messi show and i cant help but think the money would be better spent elsewhere.however if we do manage to sort it out ill be like a kid at christmas.

That is certainly plausible but then I would ask, hasn’t that always been there whether he wanted to leave or not. Why not just wait anyway instead of coming out and proclaiming how much he wants to leave when all he has to do is wait 6 months?

Kaz is possible right its one scenario BUT when you lok t what he has said about their being no projet and major changes needing to happen, even if they appoint someone Messi is ahppy with the major overhaul they need aint going to happen just like that......he also said him leaving would help the rebuild of the club ....so he may not change his mind regardless. -he has clearly been unhappy for quite a while as he mention 3 champions league exits (liverpool Bayern and someone else) - this isnt a sudden turn of events/feelings for Messi- its been rumbling on for years and he has finally made a decision - it may take more than a simple change of ownerrship and manager to make him change his mind - whats for certain that before March he is just going to feel worse as nothing will change soon

not worried in the slightest Mani .
somehow - i think we`ll be ok..
I've been ambivalent all along with this Messi thing. It would have been nice to sign him, but I think we need to strengthen elsewhere - we don't lack creativity. That said, you wouldn't say no to having Messi in your team.

I'd have loved to be on a matchday thread when he had a bad game, or missed a pen. £600m to see the meltdown would have been worth it.

I don't know, maybe he doesn't want to go into a new season in that state and with another duff manager or his age is catching up with him and he has no time to wait , just guessing though
