He actually made a statement saying he was leaving, that he’d discussed it with his family and as far as he was concerned his contract allowed him to. That’s not conjecture. Exactly, which opens up a discussion on why? Was it him knowing Barca would demand his release and it was impossible and he used it all as a power play over Bartomeu or was it that he really wanted to go? I guess we will have to wait and see.Well, - he did... and that didn't exactly work.
