According to the press, Messi is extremely upset with Barca management - and would have joined us this past window if contractually possible.

Next summer, if we're able to sign Messi on a free, I'm in favor, I guess... so long as the signing doesn't distract us from signing a world-class, long-term replacement for Aguero.

I'd love to see us somehow sign Haaland - far, far more than I'd like to see us sign Messi.

Sadly, that ship has sailed.
Messi will only be regarded for his time at Barca, and rightly so. Same as Cole and Red nose at the rags, and Spunky at Arsenal. Time to find some new legends of our own. Not other clubs fading stars. Not easy, I know.
