Pep’s “I want him to stay at Barca” today was hardly convincing

I’d be interested to know if Messi arrived and Aguero stayed would that rule out buying a younger striker like Haaland or Martinez. No preference just wondering
...

In your opinion, any chance we could get the deal done in Jan?

There is a chance, but as Deep Pan (Chicago) is also asking, it does involve Garcia.

We have zero intention of paying anything for Messi.

Garcia also being out of contract next summer means we don't have maximum leverage, but it is certainly being proposed.

As things stand, Messi and Barcelona now want to control a fitting goodbye, whether it's a long one, I think is open to debate.

Getting his seven months wages off the payroll and whatever other bonuses he is entitled to must be a consideration alongside the acquisition of Garcia in Jan.

Perhaps if Barca don't make it out of Champs League group, it will be decided anyhow.

They certainly ain't winning La Liga.

Sounds like he aint moving anywhere anytime soon.

Can you imagine signing Ronaldo aswell ha
You know what still excites me regarding Messi???

Its his conversion rate... we collectively as a team still spurn to many chances , you can bet your bottom petrodollar that what he brings is a clinical aspect to our game... we create in abundance, he, even at 34, will score 30+ in this team, which means we become a level above those before us!

I’m almost sort of glad we didn’t sign him in the summer just gone, for the simple reason we wouldn’t have been watching him from in the ground currently.
