Sid lowe is not a journalist with agenda . Atleast I don't think so. He is a rare sane voice in ESPN FC team. In the article he is only quoting what the Barcelona's interim president said. If anyone can be accused of making the club look worse it would be the barca's interim president..
 
If Messi does come on a free to city we will hear nothing till days after Messi leaves Barcelona that he be coming. They’ll be on pre contract in January announced pep won’t have it.

Surely therefore a Messi Garcia swap works both can leave for free but both want out now
Both clubs can claim a victory and appease the supporters

Stay at Barca for another 6 months not a problem with me as long as he signs pre contract, I would love that knowing we will be watching him playing a City shirt..
 
If we feel somewhat threatened by PSG or another club for this deal, then it would be colossally stupid not to take advantage of the fact we have something they want (Garcia) in January.
