Messi would walk to M/cr to play for pep.
He was training for the journey tonight.

What an awful argument. Nothing wrong with staying loyal to his team. He has trashed every single opponent he has ever faced. 939 goal contributuons in 760 appearances. Easily the best player of all time. You're entitled to your opinion as I am to mine.
I tell you what though, I've never seen Ronaldo play in such a lazy, big headed manner as Messi has tonight.
I've never seen Messi destroy English, Spanish, AND Italian football. He's done it in Spain but never anywhere else. Ronaldo has destroyed every league he has ever played in.
I've never seen Messi inspire his national team to be greater than the sum of their parts. I've seen Ronaldo do exactly that.
Ronaldo is the greatest player of the modern era, probably second only to Maradonna all time.
Messi was unplayable a few years ago. For a year or two.
With Xavi and Iniesta doing the hard yards for him.
If City want to be a top tier, major big club, we need to be distancing ourselves from players that think they're doing us a favour being linked with us.
Just seen Mbappe score a hattrick.
Why not let PSG spunk a few hundred million on Messi and we'll take young Mbappe off their hands.?
And Messi has had several chances to come to City in the past, flirted with us like a cheap whore, and then turned around and signed a huge new contract. Literally laughing all the way to the bank.
So yep, I agree with you. We'll forget about signing Mbappe and we'll forget about signing Messi.
Full steam ahead for Haaland. And maybe a cheeky 100m bid to juve for Ronaldo.

Didn't you want Pep out in his first season? And Messi has had several chances to come to City in the past, flirted with us like a cheap whore, and then turned around and signed a huge new contract. Literally laughing all the way to the bank.

Could they Really match our financial offer?
This is only feasible for us due to the fact that most of the €500m will be borne by other city group (or other clubs) with only the first 2/3 years specifically going through our books.
Do PSG own a club in America, or have a holding group with a host of clubs where it could be argued that he’s an ambassador for the holding club representing all the clubs not simply PSG?
I don’t doubt for the next 3 years they could match us but surely they couldn’t offer him a 8/10 year deal as we can only do so because of our structure???
Honestly, do those of you who think we won't sign him based off his lack of pressing think that Pep, Txiki etc. aren't perfectly aware of that? Do you think they haven't watched him play?
If we sign him a small minority are going to feel very foolish.
For God's sake, Barca are wank and their goal came from a great Messi pass, which led to a penalty he converted. Even when he doesn't play well he still produces.
