I`m in but only so we can say the best ever player played for us? Maybe one season here and then on to NYCFC for a couple?
 
We have a team that scores all types of goals, but what we don't have is someone that actually dribbles into a packed defence and comes out with something productive. Just imagine, we can score from range, score from close, bulldoze down the middle, and you add a dribbler to go at a defence that doesn't know which threat to concentrate on...

He’s far too old now, what’s the point of signing him? How many times has it seemed we may be interested but for whatever reason we didn’t sign him, now that ship has sailed.

We need pacy, young players who can improve, not a declining superstar who’d probably still want higher wages than Haaland.
 
Honestly, he’s still better than most of our players. I’d have him over Mahrez, Grealish, Gundogan in an attacking/attacking mid role. He’s been absolutely outstanding this season and it looks like last year was very much an adjustment period for him and his family.

From a non footballing perspective there’s also the huge impact he’d have on the club. Just look at the effect Haaland has had on shirts and ticket sales.

If the option of a year contract was there then I’d be up for it.
 
If it did happen it would probably be a year or 2 years playing for us then straight to the MLS with New York City . It's a win win for everyone involved. Messi gets to play at the highest level for one to two more seasons with Pep then gets to go to the MLS like he wants to.

But if last year was an adjustment period at PSG, we don't have time for him to adjust if he's only here for a year
