The fact that our names are regularly linked with players in this very top tier bracket tells us that sooner or later we will get one and it will push us into another level.
Once one comes others will follow.

Pep would speed the process up as would a good champions league showing.
 
How far is Abu Dhabi from Dubai? Is it a possibility the Sheikh might have attended these awards out of interest?

If Messi ever left Barca then I think we'd be his most likely destination. I just don't see him leaving Barca any time soon.
