In la Liga where they roll most teams over. It would be exciting for the name and hype surrounding it but we know it is a different ball game here, refs would allow opponents to kick fuck out of him.

You haven't seen many Man U games then, with Young, and now Rashford going down like a pensioner on ice needing a hip replacement, he would be afforded the protection his status deserves, all refs would be in awe of him, and if they weren't, they'd be reminded before the game the £millions each leg is insured for

Messi in his time has been the best football player on the planet, only really challenged by the ronaldo. He is now thirty, is he really worth that huge release clause and wages? We will find out if it happens. Would I love to see it happen? If the rumours of him not yet signing a new contract are true then who knows what would happen. To pay £300 million for a player in his last year would be a whole new ball game.

I do get the feeling that if ever he was to leave Barca there is only one place he would end up though so fingers crossed.

Ok spent force was probably the wrong terminology to use. If we were spending that amount on a 25 year old Messi then yes, worth it, at 30 I am not so sure. Still it isn't my money so let's hope it happens.
