The money isn't an issue. A player like Messi pays for himself, in commercial deals.

As unlikely as it is, how anyone can say he's passed his best is beyond me, he's still the best around,
37 games 27 goals 22 assists this season. We'd get at least 2 years at that level, commercially pays for itself and more. When you try and get other players into the club, the opportunity to play with Messi under Pep give you a head start.
