Football isn’t for you if you think Messi wouldn’t be anything other than an amazing signing.
Even if it was for only 2 years, you’d have to be dead inside not to get excited about him playing for your team every week.
Imbalance the team? Haha!

Which is counterproductive in the long term and goes against what we are building here
Not really if the intention is to build a team that uses a more fluid interchangeable frontline, Messi fits that perfectly and when he goes we try and carry on with a player in that veign. Besides it's probably all fantasy stuff anyway.

I have read some good shit here
People say we should sign Havertz and then see where he can fit but are saying Messi would imbalance us and we shouldn't sign.
No he won't leave Barcelona but the take is bad.

. Presence of Messi would create fear among defenders which is missing right now more so in absence of Kun

Some signings aren't meant to be.

Wages? We do have a strict structure for starters , there is no guarantee Messi would fully settle

If Messi moves here, he'd probably play in midfield next to Kevin. And then we'd need to get super fast attackers to latch on to the balls of the 2 best passers of this era.

Sterling, Dembele, Diaby or a front line of that sort will score 90 between them.

Financial point is different, he won't leave Barcelona even of they are in mess, to say that he wouldn't settle or imbalance the side is bad take. He is greatest of all time arguably so settling down shouldn't be a problem

If there’s some truth to what Sam Lee says, in that we’re willing to spend up to £300m (including player sales) this summer, then maybe we’ll be able to make this happen once and for all.
Yeah, that makes sense. Let's blow the whole budget on one aging player whilst we have much more pressing needs elsewhere
