Even if we somehow don't get Messi I will enjoy Barca shooting itself in the foot. If we can't get Messi we will go back to our planned business and we'll have a good team.

I am more concerned about his sendoff - all things considered, even if it were amicable it would be a bizarre goodbye considering fans aren't even allowed in the stadium currently. Xavi & Iniesta had immensely warm goodbyes by the club/fans and Messi will not get that. That hurts

Otherwise, I have been pretty consistent in this sentiment. I want to see a happy Messi express himself on the pitch to bring joy to all of us - he hasn't been getting it with Bartomeu but then neither have the fans.
