If we get messi I will lose some respect for pep and this club. I mean I we seriously cant win everything with the players we have and are going to get, we have to buy messi? what does that say about us? we will fulfill every stereotype that is against us.
Thanks for making my Monday better bud! Cheered me up no end. Had to explain why I was belly laughing.

You will lose respect for City making themselves iconic worldwide famous club? (IF it happened)

Will catch a few I'm sure

yep sure it will.

I for one would welcome the transfer.

It would royally totally piss off all those bitter and twisted journos. I don’t need to list them we all know who they are.

Every game would be rammed home and away.

Sponsors would be a falling over themselves to be in on the action.Revenue would rocket.

Aguero/Messi combo up front

Imagine if you are Foden training with the guy. You’d be on cloud 9

More kids would want to join the academies.

Imagine if SM just turned up at La Liga and paid his buyout clause. All £700m of it.

I’d piss myself laughing. Can you imagine the frothing in the media. Oddly, I’d rather that than sign him for £100m.

Only reason I'd be against is if it meant we wouldn't have the funds to bring in other players to strengthen weak areas in the team.

However, fuck me, those doubting his skills and if he would be able to do it in the Premier League... :/

He would be shit kicked out of every game and Fatty Moss and his bunch of cunts would allow it.

What utter utter rubbish. Sorry but we have a "chance" of signing one of THE greatest players of the generation and you say you'll lose respect for pep and THIS club?
I bet you was dancing in the street when you signed big nose wasn't you?
Like someone alluded to, news of Messi possibly signing for ickle old citeh has flushed these posters out of other clubs.
Hilarious.

So signing one of the best players ever would make you lose respect for the club? Maybe you should advise Khaldoon to go and sign Drinkwater and the likes. And what stereotype are you talking about? Do you think us signing someone for 10 million would make our rivals and the media think we are an amazing club? We will get the same negative publicity whether we sign Messi or some young lad from Bradford.

Its already been said a few times now that buying Messi WILL NOT affect our other business. Think about it as two separate funds..one for Messi and one for everyone else - one does not effect the other.

Yeah I know that, has been explained, was just my original fear.
