Despite pandemics and poor weather this weekend seems to get better and better with each passing hour. What a time to be a blue.

One thing that La Liga statement does mean, in my opinion, is that Messi will never play for Barca ever again.

When you’re worth hundreds of millions of pounds and are used to everyone telling you “yes” for over a decade, some suit trying to side against you and telling you that they won’t process your visa will only firm up your resolve. He will be fucking fuming.
That'll be part of why they're taking this stance. Making it impossible for him to remain and forcing City to the table with money (the onus being on us to get him out of there). Very, very poor way to treat a guy who has done so much for Barcelona and Spanish football in general.

I know none are at the Messi level, but Christ, rags let Rooney go when he wanted, same with Chelsea and Cech, just like we would if Aguero wanted to go. Years and years of incredible service. It’s just the right thing to do.

What Messi story? Oh, the one he's talking about?
Fallen into the same trap as old bacon!

That nonce gets under my skin, when we sign someone or win trophies he would say nobody cares, when we loose he will shamelessly troll and his stupid followers blindly RT. What a prat !

And as Real Madrid with Ronaldo, whom despite them being grade-A jerks handled it with the respect and dignity Tranny deserved.

Thing is, it’s fuck all to do with La Liga, it’s fifa that holds his registration. La Liga can’t do anything.

It’s pretty obvious now that Khaldoon’s statement in his end of year interview about allowing Sergio himself to decide when and how he eventually leaves us was a bit of a coded message...

Without bursting anyone's cloud, i think Messi to City has always been an ambitious project, far too ambitious. No matter what, it will always be a dream for us. I personally think those ITK (not naming or shaming) is feeding us too much bull.

(My 0,01 pence worth of opinion)

This probably speaks more about the financial shithole that their league has dug for themselves.

But Messi wants to join. The only obstacle (which yes, is a biggun) is getting around Barca

I think you’re talking fucking shite and there is zero (nil, none, nada) chance that Messi ever pulls on a Barca shirt for a competitive game again.

You don't have to believe tolmie or anyone else on this board to know this is happening.

So are you saying Messi is pretending to leave?
And he's that good at pretending La Liga have absolutely shit themselves at the prospect of losing him
