Barca wage cap in previous seasons was pretty much €700m before. Because of covid it was pretty much halved by la Liga but the wages still near €600m I think. They must reduced to around 300m

They are also around 1.5b in debt.
and the important thing is - FFP doesn't address debt

Oh no,Barca are skint, who would have thought after looking at their financials,
and that pro footballers are unwilling to walk away from millions..Shock.
He might want to stay with all his heart, and for him and his family, but doesn't look like it'll be his decision in the end. From next week, something will have to give either way

Apparently Messi brings more into Barcelona than he costs.
Barcelona can’t afford to keep him and can’t afford to let him go.
Oh the dilemma, what a shame.
I call bullshit on that
If he brought in more than he costs they would be able to afford him
If it is true not only can they not afford him but they are going bust when he leaves!
More than a club

no its true, if you only look at the costs of messis salary, and the money brought in from sponsors and overall revenue because messi is at the club, then you would see a profit

but you add in all the other factors, such as stupid wages etc etc, and then you have a situation now where they are fucked
