Musically Take That as as far from my taste as is possible but the missus has dragged me to a couple of their gigs as she loves em and I have to say they put on a good show for their fans.
 
I’ll try and think of a few not mentioned yet.

Kings of Leon - Hate his voice

Oasis- Totally overhyped ( Like U2 are)

Michael Jackson - Just not my music

Elton John - First single I bought as a kid was Yellow Brick Road. Albums up to that were decent. He went to shit after that though.

Marc Bolan - never got it.

Garth Brooks - Bringing the **** into Cuntry & Western
 
Musically, I think plenty of bands are overrated. No one comes remotely close to topping Radiohead in that regard.

But there are some bands where certain frontmen are fundamentally assholes which makes me not want to listen to them.

Dire Straits
Guns n Roses
The Germs
The Doors
Ted Nugent
Flaming Lips

A couple of Manc bands are fronted by assholes, but I like their music, so I’ll forgive them, and one’s a blue, so I actually like him. And I don’t hate Nugent’s music or The Lips’, but Nugent and Coyne are both dicks.

Oh my life, I agree with that Kings of Leon bit. I can't listen to his fucking voice. So fucking annoying.

Floyd and Bowie are up there with the best concerts I've seen, especially Floyd. Seen Bowie a few times. Can't think of a list but I've never worked heavy metal out or rap music for that matter. I'm sure it sounds top to people that like it as music can be very(can't remember the word). I don't know, just don't get it as it all sounds the same 'to me'. Sayin that bavarian, you're probably thinkin the same.

No way am I having that.

But Garth Brooks I get. If he isn't making shite snidy remarks about City in his weekly BBC column then he is turning out shite C&W songs too
