The Rags v Chelsea next weekend is going to be shown in 3d in 1000 pubs across the country apparently - does anyone know if a list has been or is to be published about which pubs these are?!?!

Cheers

Watching a game in HD is better than watching a game in 3D

Watched a 20 minute preview of Gladitors on a 3D tv and it was stunning
Not seen a football match yet
3D tv's go on sale in the UK tomorrow
£1800 42" Samsung and SKY 3D channel goes live next week

That all depends on the type of 3D recoreded and broadcast. If you get a true 3D TV you effictivly scrap your HD quality as HD has 1080 lines on the screen. On a true 3D TV the screen has two polorisations of the same picture so the picture is broadcast twice on the same screen, this means that the picture quality is then limited to 540 lines on your TV making it worse quality than SD 625 line broadcasts. Sorry for the technical shite, but this 3D TV is a big con and unless the conditions are right it is not that great anyhow.

Makes sense as the majority of rags have only ever seen a game in 2D.

Me, I've been watching games in 3D for thirty-odd years now...

the best place to watch 3D football is at the stadium!!!! of course you could be sittin on your chair at home or pub but wot good does that do for the team you follow. seems pointless to me, HD is quality anyway
