Live Performances you were at but wish you were not

Appears to be a theme here :- Van Morrison, Stirling Castle car park, 65 minutes, no encore, no ‘thanks for coming’, just walked off, miserable c..t.

Probably not a lot of yous guyses cups of tea, but Slipknot at the Newcastle Arena in (I think) 2009. The only gig I've ever walked out of because the band were that bad.

The support band Children of Bodom were good but overall a waste of 40 nicker, plus bus fare, plus beer money. Probably double that spent.

Ryan Adams at the international in 2004. Off his head and incoherent, the self indulgent tit. Fell off the stage a couple of nights later and broke his wrist so badly that he had to cancel the rest of the tour.

The police at MK mudbowl shocking sting hummed as he couldn't remember the words

Never really a fan of queen, but went to the nec in about 84, (the works tour I think) to see what all the fuss was about........shit.

i recall being at a Cockney Rebel concert in Stretford with my girlfriend in around 1974/75 ish , and although i liked the band and their music, i really wish i hadn't of bothered going .... a huge fight broke out about three rows in front of us , and it totally ruined the night ... and all because some guy and his girl had appaerently attempted to plead with a rowdy gang of lads to tone things down a bit and stop blocking their view of the stage, the poor guy got a right kicking .... next thing the entire venue was full of coppers tryin to identify the culprits , and questioning everybody about the assault!

And no one saw a thing yeah?

i never really found out if they actually identified the perpetrators , there wouldn't have been any CCTV back then , but maybe the venue could have checked ticket sale numbers, i don't know .... but tthe violence just spoilt the whole night for most people , and a lot just left at that point , the cops turned up shorty afterwards.... it certainly wasn't the sort of thing you wanted to see on a night out, and the victims girlfriend/wife was absolutely hysterical ... even though Cockney Rebel just played on throughout the whole thing!

James a few years back at the MEN. Seen them a few times and they've been amazing but this gig was a let down. Being stood at the back of the Arena didn't help and they played most of the new songs at the time (which i don't normally mind) but it affected the atmosphere and was a big let down. I think being p**sed as a fart didn't help either ;)

Van Morrison at the MEN a few years ago. Total shite. If he was singing on my front lawn I wouldn't draw the curtains. Chris Farlow sang along with him, he was far better. Bobby Blue Bland was the support act , he was amazing and made the night for me
