You see, the big problem here is perception. Klopp got wins over the big teams, but then loses to Hull, Swansea etc.

Van Gaal was bang average against...well everybody.

So Liverpool fans only choose to remember those big wins against us, chelsea etc but neglect the fact they lose to the minnows..."it's only southampton" and that seems to come from the very top of their arrogant little club down to the field.

In addition, it is conceded that any losses suffered by Liverpool football club are not their fault but down to wind or other acts of God, corrupt referees, or small, no-mark teams raising their game against "the greatest club in history". I welcome the return of this once great club to the Europa League next season and Klopp continuing his more entertaining style of abrasive, defensive and whining post match news conferences.

so have a number of teams who aren't better than us Karen. I don't necessarily use that as a benchmark Lol.

No my point would be after what 16 - 18 months in the game here they do not appear to be anything like what people feared they would be. If this squad were playing in Europe as well ( not that they look good enough to go deep into a European comp ) it would look worse for them I think.

Nah sadly beating us this season is not proof that a team is a title chaser....................
 
The way Klopp has his team play closing down relentlessly all game it's no surprise they are all burnt out in January.
