From another site:
"Football League have announced that if Liverpool are drawn at home in the League Cup second round draw on Wednesday then the tie will be switched to the oppositions ground, with Liverpool potentially having to pay their opponents compensation for loss of Anfield gate receipts."

Maybe top 14 but not top 4.

Us, Rags and Chelsea have by far the strongest squads.

Arsenal or Spurs for 4th.

Be interesting to see how they start, klopp would have had a full pre-season to get them ready this time focus groups on his pressing game. Think they could run it close this year for top four imo

That stand behind a stand seems to have taken forever to build.

I think they can and will start very strong but the high intensity pressing game they play can't be kept up for the season

We have a tough start, 4 out of 5 away from home, with Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and Leicester in that. Could end up 8 or 9 points adrift straight away. Also, some stupid fixture scheduling in pre-season. Why add Roma and Mainz and flog the players more than necessary???? The high-pressing will be easier this year with no Europe. We were constantly playing last season, but get more rest this time and more preperation time. Transfers are underwhelming, lost a lot of the squad, injuries already, doesn't look great. Having said that, this is definitely our year!!!!!!!!!

The advantage Klopp had at Dortmund that he won't have at Liverpool was a six-week mid-season break. Yes, there were friendlies before the Bundesliga resumed, but it's not like playing at high intensity right through the busy Christmas / New Year period and all of January.

As you say, it will be very difficult to keep up that high pressing game for nine months, rather than two four-month periods with a six week break.

What's happening with Sakho? Without him you look very light at the back. Moreno makes Kolarov look world class and Lovren is inconsistent.

Mane looks like he'll fit in well though.
