Liverpool (A) PL - Post Game

This past month has been fucking brutal and to hear and see the rags, dippers, tarquins and the media pissing themselves laughing about our plight could be fucking annoying to some of us.

But remember this fellow Blues, we have plumbed the depths before, endured decades of shit and having the piss ripped out of us and we have always took it in good stead and even laughed about it ourselves. But we stuck by them and the lower we went, the more fans turned up at Maine Road defying belief that a club can keep its fanbase despite the mire it was in. We are not scared of any of that returning as we've seen and done it all before.

Would those rags, dippers and tarquins do the same if they ever had to go through half of that we've been through? Would they keep going to watch the dross being served up week in, week out? Would they laugh at themselves being in such a dire situation? Would they stick by them? No fucking chance they would, they would whine, whinge and moan, desert their clubs and be even more insufferable twats than they already are.

Yeah really.

Thought we looked more like ourselves. Still a way to go, but it's not as bad as it seems imo.
Agreed, second half so much better..ok we didn't really threaten and Liverpool did miss some sitters really - but it felt better watching us..with a lot of key players out or half fit

Feel largely positive about the performance if not the result.

We've got some problems, but nothing that's going to hold us back for too long.
How I see it. Much happier with the second half performance. Realistically we were always going to lose today, in fact I feared a battering particularly after that first 10-15 minutes.

Better than I expected. But we looked toothless again and silly, naive football cost us.

Walker literally watched Gakpo for 30 yards and then ignored him as soon as he got to the 6 yard line.

The second goal was just as bad, Dias trying something he didn’t need to try and walker sliding in to poke it into the forward’s path.

Thought Ortega played well. Very different keeper to Ederson and the right choice for a game where we were likely to face a lot of shots.

This scouse team are fit and full of confidence. Can’t wait for them to pick up a few injuries, they’ll soon fall over.

We need to stop the rot on Wednesday and pick up a win. I’m not going to tantrum if we don’t win anything this year, or next year, or any year, I just want to see us doing the best we can and at the moment we’re not. The tactics are wrong, we’re playing players out of position, we’re very one dimensional and we’re very, very predictable.

A couple of very winnable games now so let’s see what Wednesday brings.
