I disagree, foden should have ran Milner into the ground but kept passing backwards and bernado played about 5 passes that were shit under no pressure at all

Foden was completely isolated on the lett hand side, Nobody overlapping...We are at our best when we have over loads and Pep fucked that up today by playing wing backs. Once Foden goes past Milner what then? He was covered by Gome on every occasion.

As far Bernie, He showed ar more bollocks than a lot of players their today he's right up for it at Anfield which can't be said for alot of players today.

I’m right behind Cancelo, that was not his fault. Everyone makes a mistake, midfielders and attackers make them all the time. There were a few of our players there who were awful for the entire game so one mistake shouldn’t be too harshly criticised.

Right from the very first kick off at the very very start of the game, we made about three shit passes that got their crowd right up from the off. Fucking woeful from the off from us.

Today, everybody apart from Bernardo all game and Gundogan second half played too safely, too within themselves, with not enough intensity and application.

Pep changed the formation at Anfield and we looked very disjointed because of it.

We should have played the same eleven who started against utd. Same intensity, same formation, not crapping themselves because we’re playing at anfield.

I know we were poor but the game is bent, they actively looked to disallow that goal to make the league exciting.

Very disappointing result. There’s no other way to say it, we were poor all over the pitch. Our back four don’t like teams that high press and come at with the ball them at speed. The Dippers did both. Cancelo was awful but Akanji really struggled at times as well. Our midfield, which should have dominated the space simply didn’t. Our forwards didn’t show enough ambition. We should have targeting Milner and Gomez but instead allowed them joint man of the match performances. When we did get in good positions the final ball was poor and we turned over possession.

Regarding the disallowed goal, it may well have been a foul but in the context of what the ref let go all game it was nothing. It was also nit the foul Liverpool were appealing for. It felt to me that VAR had been got at by SKY.

Anyway, bad day at the office. Lots of games to go.

It wasn’t all on him. De Bruyne has a lot to answer for in that goal. That free kick was fucking abysmal.

De Bruyne needs to be taken off all set pieces. For a great passer his dead ball delivery from either a free kick or a corner is league 1 level at best.

I don't think Ake was bad but going forward, I don't think he e should be played as a full back anymore. What's the point? No attacking threat whatsoever, even Akanji goes forward more than him. Why are liverpool drawing or losing to other teams worse than us but against us they produce a result? Other teams don't care about how liverpool set up and just play their natural game but for some reason we had to rejig the whole structure and formation around liverpool's strengths. FFS.

Shit teams don't press like we do with a high line. That way we play is perfect for Liverpool, but a nightmare for other teams.
