its just something about anfield, ive got used to it now, city just dont have any desire to win there. its always nearly and maybe. but then when the home game comes its an actual contest

Liverpool, don't win title because of the major battles they have over the rest of the league
beating city at home does not win you anything other than 3 points,

I think we must be the only team that gets VAR review like 5 minutes of play before we score so they can find some excuse to disallow it. We got robbed and Pep didn't help things by overthinking it, but that's no surprising anymore is it?

A bit of a shitshow in the end, we let them turn the match into a cup match, end to end which was disappointing as doesn’t suit our style at all.

We put in a 6/7 out of 10 performance and looked content to bide our time ‘hoping’ for a breakthrough. We needed more overall.

I would rather get beat playing our way, based on the result a tactical tweak too far by Pep in a big game once again.

Rat face and his chums from Sky can wank themselves silly about the good old days of tough tackling but there was at least half a dozen outrageous decisions from Alty, both sides being penalised. Now refereeing by hindsight since the start of this season, only a foul if a goal is scored, absolute bull shit.

Poor from Joao at the goal, so weak in the challenge and almost did it again late on.

Not the end of the world given our position, we need to bounce back next week in the right way, which I’m sure we’ll do.

After the dippers had scored, it looked like the extra time vs Madrid. I always try to focus on the positive, but playing that high defensive line against them was stupid and totally unnecessary.
