Our Centurions and Treble winners lost at Anfield.

We are giving Liverpool too much attention. Far rather win trophies than have bragging rights over them.

It’s kinda what I was expecting.
I was hoping for more but I also know we ain’t having a great season.
We’re lucky to still be in with a shout at the title.
Defensively we’re miles off what’s needed.
We’re slow in transition and our pressing is non existent.
Maybe it’s a treble hangover or maybe it’s the change in personnel.
Gundogan is a huge miss this season, especially now, this is where he shines.
Our high tempo playing style was always gonna mean we were gonna have a season where we are slightly off the pace.
We’ve done well to keep it up for every season under Pep so far imo.
We’re still in the race and who knows what will happen but whatever happens it won’t be easy.

A draw is never disappointing at Anfield.
We were a bit lucky and unlucky at the same time. Rode our luck at times but defended well too. Take the point, move on. Lots of football to play yet.
I think theres loads more pressure now on the Arsenal game to win, as long as we're still in with a shout by then.

He controlled a lot when he came on. We have no balance without Grealish because doku, despite hitting the post, is absolute shit.

As soon as he came on we controlled it for the first time in ages although after about 10 minutes the inhaler boys got back on top

Lol.. bar today KDB has been pretty much lethal since returning and our entire game relies around Kyle Channeling his inner cheetah to get us out of sticky spots with the high line (which he still does loads).

Don’t underestimate how psychologically detrimental it was when Rodri got booked 8 seconds before half time after Alvarez’s fuck-up.

That incident and then Ake’s brain fart set the tone and the composure completely disappeared. We looked terrified.

Thought we might capitalise on their injury issues but Klanfield did its thing once again.

A point is huge under those circumstances.

Too much is asked of Rodri, he is utterly fucked, carried our midfield for so long, he has needed proper help for the best part of 3 seasons

He had two running at him all game and got fuck all support
Crunched a few tackles and looked up for it
Same can’t be said for at least three quarters of the starting 11

If he stopped standing out of position or so far ahead of them so he has to catch up, it's just a wierd approach to defending. Gave it away a fair few times too. I thought Akanji was the better defender today, personally.

We couldn't match their energy in the 2nd half. Their energy levels were superior (how could Diaz run like this?) and compensated for the inexperience of their younger/new players. People who judge football players or teams on paper are a bit clueless.

Let's be honest here. That was a really bad mistake by Ake, up there with Cancelo or even worse. He's a wonderful squad player, but no more than that. Imagine the comments if that was Gvardiol? Akanji has been the better player last and this season, but you would never guess it by reading this forum. Game of favourites.

Pep has to tweak the midfield. It's very difficult to make room for all of KDB, Foden, Haaland and Alvarez in big (!) games. We got a bit better with Kovacic and Doku. But we miss Gundogan. It's not easy to replace his intelligence, calmness and ability to score from midfield.

There was minimal contact but he was a tit putting us in that situation. I wouldn't have neen surprised if had been given.
