Because he was static and didn't attempt a single recovery run. Giving KDB licence to play a free role is all well and good, but it takes Stones to plug midfield and leaves us 3 on 3 at the back and super vulnerable to long balls. I agree Haaland is a bloody passenger and I cannot recall a single challenge he won, and Alverez passed to more red shirts than he did blue.
Alvarez, for a world cup winner well.... he is amazing when it comes to just whacking it without thinking..Top instinct..ask him to play..he is pretty poor tbf

When you put all them things together, which I agree with by the way, a point is very welcome.

I'm assuming that Pep will be having a chat with Kev about that. Whatever about Kev being an outstanding player, you can't go showing dissent/displeasure with the manager in public. Say what has to be said in the privacy of the training facility. That was disappointing from Kev.
Bollocks. Pep could do sometimes with someone telling him what's going on. Pep was watching that game get away from us, we have fucked a huge opportunity and he needs to be told it.

I think we need to acknowledge the elephant in the room.

Unless Haaland scores or produces a big moment for someone else he is a liability in our team setup.

Also, this is the second game this season where our midfield has been completely obligated by the opposition (happened against Aston Villa as well). In recent I've seen us lose, play badly, have an off day, lose to a poorly defended counter attack but never get completely dominated in the middle of the park. This doesn't happen to Pep teams and it's happened twice so far this season. I believe it's connected to the above factor.

Anyway, thanks to a great piece of set piece work we came away with a point. That's a positive at Klanfield but it means the title is now out of our direct control.

thing is though we won't keep getting away with being shocking (bit hard I would say average or mediocre.). One more loss this season and the PL is other for us I feel. I say that because both Liverpool and Arsenal seemed to of worked out how to win against the cannon fodder.
98th min goal for the dippers last week and late goal for the arse yest, theyve got lucky just like us, wouldnt say theyve workf it out per se

Well the league table suggests we’re still in it. We clearly aren’t at last seasons levels and midfield is where we are struggling, but we still have a great chance to win it all.

How is it out of our hands when if we beat them we go above them?

There’s so many points to play for and everyone is in control. No one is staying 100%. If we do well enough we’ll win it.

I’d worry about others when there’s 5 games left.
Because Liverpool are a point ahead of us…

And I can’t see them dropping points

We don't know what was said. Kev kept pointing to the pitch, he could have been trying to get something across to Pep that was happening in the game and Pep hadn't seen and that he was unhappy with or thought we should be doing better.
Possibly. Hopefully it will come out in the next day or so. It just didnt look all that clever. Like his famous "let me speak" moment! And I'm guessing the media will be all over it.

We didn't lose, that's all I've got!

A point was fair. Could have battered them, could have knicked it, could have got pumped (at times), could have seen it knicked. Take the point and the lesson.

Liverpool don't have much to take from today, they are not as good as they make out and they well know it.
