It was one of those surreal moments where I was just waiting for the ref to blow and it looked like firminho was fucking about and just chipping the ball towards goal when and surely he’d heard the whistle? Where was the whistle?....couldn’t believe it when he started celebrating and the ref gave it. What a prick

Not quite 400 but a fair number who didn't seem to have a clue what was going on. By that I mean not shouting, not showing any emotion etc.

Yeah that was pretty much my mental process. What the..ohh, foul...ohh, wait, what the fu..no way. Watching the replay it wasn't quite as cut and dried as real time, but I still think it was a foul. The problem is that Marriner just wasn't giving anything out way throughout the match. It's not even the worst reffing we've had over the past few seasons. It was one-sided and biased, but we've had bigger, worse decisions. It does feel like he had his orders to put his thumb on the scales though. Just enough to tip it a little.

Just wondering now if pep has told tixi to get on the phone to Arsenal saying we will pay a bit more for sanchez. Not criticising sergio but he needs help at the moment, and alexis would certainly do that. Go on pep you know it makes sense.

That's what I thought - in real time it looked a clear foul, which would be given 9 times out of ten. Marriner is a lily-livered homer, just what was needed for a match refereed by the crowd.

Ota header springs to mind Aguero gave the ball away umpteen times showing too much of the ball in the box again and again inviting the tackle...

Fucking frustrated at how poor play paid a big part in the loss but still top and will play much better with that record bullshit of our back:-)

According to reports, Guardiola supports the club's stance. I doubt one bad result will make him change his position on that, especially given we scored three goals today and it was individual errors at the back that cost us.
