They are given on a regular occurrence. Firminhos arm comes up so it wasn't a shoulder it was a push. Stones admittedly was weak but what outcome do you think would be if that was Aguero on Lovren?Didn't think there was much in that Firminho push tbf.

Look at how much Stones protests. Not at all is the answer.Stones misjudged the weight of the pass. Went to intercept, and then realising it had more legs, went to maintain a goal side position from Firmino who held his ground and used his body strength to push him off. It was a Stones mistake not a refereeing one.
If people are seriously putting that defeat down to the referee, there’s no hope...

I was sure of a defeat today.the bin dippers biggest game of the season.all the press speculation beforehand,.just write it off as a bad day at the office and crack on with winning the league.Arsenal fans will be full of the invincible shit,But spent half that season just trying not to lose,not trying to win
not going to moan and liverpool was the right team to beat us at this stage and we even could have took a point away that's the mark of a great team we fight to the end never give up chase the impossible ask the question and if you lose ok its not our day and move on
its now what we all have been waiting for the question and all the media have been asking could city go unbeaten this season well pep did say nope we lose and maybe its today this city team is special and if this was a 2 leg semi final you take losing 4.3 that's the making of this team we will have to go to bigger places in the champions league and face better teams than liverpool and we can hurt teams and score goals when its not your day
i think pep is in the 2nd stage of the season and now the points we banked can be use to take away days like this and work on the little things yes we need another left wing back and another striker and this week should be pep getting them at the earliest monday night tuesday morning it need a fresh up and a couple of new faces to add something and send out a message saying to the others we have not stopped building and this is not the finished item we can and will get better
turning a bad day into something good is the best way to show people this is why manchester city is the place to come and play football we don't take 2nd best as a option we ask for your best and that's all and the best you give is the way forward

Well tbf it has been this season.
Today was a throwback to last season with the same people doing the same stuff they did then.
We lost a game to a good side, in decent form, at a ground where we have an awful record. No big deal.
It only becomes an issue if it affects us beyond today. If we beat Newcastle next week everything is fine. In fact, it might do us some good to realise we're not invincible, in a competition where we can afford to lose a game, rather than suffer a defeat in the Champions League or one of the domestic cups.
