On what fucking planet is that not deliberate?

If you watch the clip as well (available from
The main website on The daily mail; not linking because fuck Journalists) he puts his arm up and doesn’t actually move it away after the ball hits it, meaning 2 things; his arm was braced for impact and it wasn’t an accident.

I wonder if the 'injury crisis' is real or just a convenient excuse for us fans ?
Maybe i'm missing someone out but we are missing the following to long term injury, Laporte, Sane and Zinchencko, is that correct ?
Well, Laporte and Sane are big misses obviously but Sane looks to me as if he'll be off in the summer & we should be able to cope easily without Zinchencko.
I won't count Ederson as he'll only be out a week or two and Rodri is also now back.
Do i think our defence will suddenly be sorted once Laporte is back ? I'm not sure, we seem to struggle hugely at times with our full backs , no matter who plays and don't forget, even with Laporte back we'll still have to play Stones or Otamendi alongside him and neither instill much confidence.
It'll free up Fernandinho though, i like Rodri but Fern is a much better player in that position, we miss him covering our defence.
Personally i think it's a little more than our injuries causing the problem, we aren't taking our chances, we don't always close opposing players down as we once did and we seem to have more than a few players who just aren't in the best of form or are lacking in confidence.
What do you lot think ?

Laporte has been as key to us as VVD has been to the dippers so is a major loss. However it is more likely we are suffering a drop in concentration after two insane seasons of smashing records left, right and centre. Those seasons were effectively one long season considering the World Cup was sandwiched between for most of the players.

This is resulting in problems across the pitch and the strikers are as much to blame as the defence, if not more so.

It's a blip, but will possibly cost us the league because as much as I hate to say it, the dippers are a good team and seem to be getting a lot of fortuitous decisions. If these things DO even out across the season, then we're still in with a shout.

The one thing I wanted most from this season, apart from 40pts and a finish above the rags, was more opportunities for the kids, but yesterday wasn't the right day to throw them in.

Two very blatant hand ball's. This one is clear - his arm is in an unnatural position to make his body bigger. Later on, at the other end, Raheem has the same thing happen and it's a hand ball in the area - with the ref waving his hands for 'no' while he was ten feet away, shocking. Sterling was also pushed off pitch and into the side-ing, as was Walker - nothing done and every infringement allowed.

i have never seen a team cheat as much as these scum do, and they're allowed to get away with it through intimidation of officials.

buckle up during the international break and go again. Hopefully get some players back. Give foden some playing time.

If we can go on a sustained run , who knows. Yes , liverpool had lot of luck with injuries and form but they have a very hectic December and hopefully will drop points there.
