We were the better side. Bernardo and Phil the standouts. Blatant cheating by the referee denied us half an hour against ten men and it was as clear a 2nd yellow as you will see.
most years, with that profligate finishing, bent reffing and falling behind we would have crumbled, so re-assuring we have the steel about us to come back twice.
To get 7 points from Chelsea, Liverpool, Leicester and Spurs away is a good return though not in the order expected. Just the Southampton draw and a lack of striker that makes long-term sustained form a concern.
Pep will praise the team so much, I can’t wait for it. Against all the dark forces, they carried on playing in our identity, which is all he ever asks for.
We deserved the win there I reckon but will take the draw considering we went behind twice. Brilliant character which has sometimes been missing, especially at Anfield. Some fantastic individual performances in there again too.
Great performance from us. Shit performance, again, from the officials. Still a tough away game, should have been against 10 not 12, came back twice at Anfield. Now played spurs Leicester chavs and dippers away. Fantastic stuff. Some of the posters in the match day thread should be shot outside old trafford where they belong
Obvious 2nd yellow we know that but whilst happy with a point we had enough chances to win and the difference between the sides is that they can be clinical with their few chances whereas we yet again are found wanting
Whether it be January or in the summer a clinical striker will take us to another level
