He should have been carded then, but we didn't even get a foul for it

Thinking back to it now - how was nothing given at all?! It was a foul either way but to end up with nothing from it…baffling but a testament to how shit our officials actually are.

Strange game that. Should have been out of sight first half after what was an excellent performance bar the finishing.

Second half I thought we were poor mostly, ragged at times. Particularly after Cancelo got booked and Salah targeted him.

I think it certainly showed that with top strikers you can get something out of games that you perhaps don’t deserve and without them you can play the best football and not always win.

All four goals were good strikes though and Rodri’s block was brilliant.

Foden was magnificent as was Bernado.
