Ive been watching 57 years and I was there when we got 8000 against Swindon Town. Sat in Platt lane end. We have had many many shite years. However, the expectations are now much different. Despite the league cup I think given the money spent and the players we have it has been a RELATIVELY disappointing year. A school report would - read some progress but should do better.
Not arguing with that as I've been going for almost as long. My point really was that to describe the year as utter shite suggests a flaky supporter to me!!!

Kaz, I'm not expecting us to keep them out. The "unfortunately" in my post is the clue ;)
Only way we're getting a result is if we press like we did against Arsenal and Barca AND keep hold of the ball once we win it back. If we start passing it between the defenders and Bravo for no reason they will force a mistake out of us.
