He is good at passing lines and triangle play when in possession. And he can sprint as well as most up and down. But he can't match the intensity of top forwards in the PL. Both in press/counter press and in his ability to cover side-to-side. He cover well when he sit back, but if you want to match the intensity of a high press team, playing Fernando/Fernandinho and Yaya as DM:s will surely make your team fall short in speed/pace and mobility against players like Lallana, Firmino, Mané, Origi (or Alli, Eriksen, Lamela and Son, if you will). Especially if they push high and press high.

With that said, if City can play past the press, the pace will not be a factor.

Having wasted my time perusing your inane posts i have come to the conclusion you know absolutely zero about football ,you just watch it on the telly and draw your conclusions from ex Dipper pundits who continually brown tongue your over achieving team . Candlepool will win nothing this year , same as every other year ,come back in May and give us your annual hard luck story

Nice to see Mike the wanker Riley picked a soft arse referee thats easily swayed by the crowd.

PEP: Aguero is ready. Finally he came back and we are happy he is back.

PEP: John Stones is much, much better. Vincent and Leroy will not be able to play.

PEP: #LFC are contenders, definitely. I was lucky enough to play against Jurgen Klopp, we know each other well

PEP: We have to equal their intensity - Anfield will play a big role.

PEP: You cannot compare to what Liverpool and United did (in the 80s and 90s). Step by step, that’s the way to get better

PEP: Six teams are fighting for the title. It will be a good fight until the end of the season

PEP: I trust Aleix Garcia a lot. I want to give him more minutes because I think he can give us a lot in midfield.

PEP: (Interest in Isco?) I have no idea.

shame Sane is injured. Would rather start him tomorrow than Sterling.

I fear a Nasri at Arsenal/Gaz Baz at Villa type performance from Raheem.

Shame about Leroy, he'd have been a useful asset tomorrow.

It does mean though that our line-up becomes a bit more predictable.

Real shame about Sane, because he would definitely cause their defence real problems.

Need Raheem 2nd half performance v Arsenal and hopefully score. What a wonderful sight that would be to see the best supporters in the world frothing at the mouth

One thing is for sure, whatever the formation and line-up, Raheem will be up against Milner - I sincerely hope we try to get the lad running at pace at the judas as much as possible early doors.

Shame that Sane is out, Stones won't start imo, even though he's better.

------------------------Bravo
Sagna------Otamendi-------Kolarov----Clichy
-------Fernandinho-----------Yaya
Sterling-------------De Bruyne-----------Silva
--------------------Aguero
