To see back 3 of dias , stones and laporte is like dream come true . Just two games in and the verdict is still out there but rest of the players oozes with confidence.

Isn’t it about time a City player scored a worldie in this fixture for a change? With that in mind I’m going for 4-0; a Rodri thunderbastard from 45 yards to open the scoring, followed by a Gundogan hat-trick which he celebrates by teabagging an irate Klopp in front of the away dugout whilst Pep looks on in approval.

I find it really hard to leave Walker out but probably the right choice will be Laporte on the left and the great Cancelo on the right. On offense Cancelo got into the midfield and Laporte, Dias and Stones 3 simply great CB. I would definitely not play with Zinchenko, Saleh will destroy him. My lineup:
Ederson
Cancelo
Stones
Dias
Laporte
Rodri
Gundogan
Bernardo
Foden
Mahrez
Jesus/Sterling

Our record he been pathetic there but if it's ever a time to beat them there it's now. Beat them go 10 points clear with game in hand and put them out of sight in title chase for time being. Lesser teams have beaten so no excuse for us to not beat them in form that are in.

Dippers had just one shot on target with lesser shots than BHA and they had more possession.

I would say follow same template, let them have ball frustrate them and we will have opening here and there to put one in

Mahrez was good today, would rather see him replacing Sterling
sterling on the right and foden on the left is better than the predictable stop reverse to left foot mahrez. at least raz has an option and can go forward and cross on his proper foot to score like our second goal today that we can never get from riyad imo.
Edit: forgot to mention we'll get a proper press and track back effort on both sides of the pitch with Raz and Phil that will be so important against these that we wouldn't get with mahrez.

I want a win, like how Pep's Bayern won 0-3 at Dortmund in his first season. Bayern were winless against Klopp's Dortmund in their previous 6 league meetings at the time.

To be honest I can see these cunts with no other intention that fucking our season so I’d expect foden or Dias taken out early.

plus a few dodgy decisions to try to nail our momentum and psychology.

I reckon 2-0 to us

So, LFC have beaten Spurs and West Ham away, and lost to Burnley and Brighton at home?.... hmmmmm, I'm thinking they are in a right 2 and 8 at the moment, but seem to get their act together for the big games.
No fans in the stadium is gonna be crucial in this game.
Sterling might even get a goal.
Refs will be pumped up for this one....

I'm not expecting anything less than an immensely tough game settled possibly by how effective Salah's dives are.
Me too mate, people are getting a bit too giddy for my liking, but possibly rightly so given our/their form.

I really, really want us to smash them for three or four (to nil) but I just have this feeling that it's going to be end to end stuff but will possibly end up being a very tight low scoring game.

Reckon it'll be fairly dramatic though, it always is when we go there with our tails up, but you just know that their cheating bastard wingers are going to be awarded the sort of pens that we just don't get, especially with the king of the cvnts in charge.

Heart says 0-3, head says 2-1 or even 1-0 settled by a dive and as pen, followed by lots of dropped jaws at how corrupt this league actually is :(:

I think we'll actually turn up for a game at Anfield, far too many times we've shit ourselves, no idea why.
2-0 City

I reckon it will be a false 9.

Ederson

Cancelo
Stones
Dias
Laporte

Rodri

Gundogan
Bernardo

Mahrez
Sterling
Foden
That's the team I'd put out too.

No centre forward with plenty of fluidity up top, false 9 "should" unhinge and pull their makeshift defence all over the place leaving plenty of space for Silva and Gundogan to pick passes through them.

That's the dream :)

Best way to take advantage of their league 2 CBs is to play the false 9 and pass it through. Why put anything on their heads, its the only thing they’re competent at
