Ok, so I just got in and have now seen the line up.

So... Zin against Salad??
No Jesus with his never ending pressing?
And FFS starting?

Liverpool’s result midweek, and United and Leicester’s results this weekend, makes this game now a free hit. With no fans n’all, there should be the least amount of pressure we’ve ever had going to Anfield.
spot on, all this whining about who Pep's picked and it's the wrong the team, we are 13 games unbeaten, Liverpool's players have already talked themselves out of the title race, Utd bottled it yesterday, our confidence is sky high.

You and me both mate, the thought of Salah on zinchenko terrifies me, hope I'm wrong but I think hes going to have a field day today
I wish you hadn’t put that thought into my head mate - all I could see was us cutting through them and now I see Salah tying Zinch in knots :-(

I’m guessing that Pep’s thought that one through and imposed a strategy to manage it but I’ve got to to wait & worry to find out.

I don`t normally come on the match day thread to worry about team selection but today I make an exception.
I truly am shit scared of Zinco playing in defense,as the lad has no pace at all.I fear a lot of the Dippers main threats will come from their right hand side.
Please prove me wrong Pep and you Zinco ... but I fear the worst.
You heard it here first ... ;)
Nothing wrong with worrying about that. Salah tore him apart at Wembley last season. But Zinchenko wasn’t good last season at all really.

He has been more confident of late and playing well.

United and both Leicester dropping points, huge round for anyone who is winning this game now. Adding 2-2 points and 3 vs Pool to our lead or Liverpool cutting us back 3 points and 2-2 for United/Leicester is a huge opportunity for both teams.

Real test for our defence which looked pretty solid in recent weeks. 1 more clean sheet please.

Today is the perfect time for Sterling and Mahrez to repay the faith Pep has shown in them. Both have been consistently poor, and yet continually picked. I thought there was a fair chance that neither would start today, and yet both are in there. It’s time for them to stand up and be counted. If they don’t, and it goes south, this place will be in meltdown in a couple of hours.
Other players have been out of form for weeks, even months and been given a chance to come good. No reason why these two won't deliver even more than they have been done for City.
