When you say we know their strengths you are including the ability to get all the key decisions?
Not only that but I am more interested what are their weak points in the team. Could do with a little balance on how dangerous they currently are. Same with Captain Scarlet's mob.

Switched off for the goal, felt like Fernandes had a head start against our back four. Can’t be doing that against this dipper side otherwise it could be bumpy afternoon.
Ake looking right along the line, is far too casual. The other three are playing offside, while he is two yards further back, with the best view.

We know their strengths are and how they will set up but what are Liverpool's team weaknesses and vulnerabilities?

They take risks with their high press and build up play, which results in good chances for the opposition. They aren't good enough to keep the ball for longer periods. They are more direct than the best versions of Klopp's Liverpool (18-20). As a result, they concede more chances than us... They have been a bit lucky to concede fewer goals than they deserved to. When they try to be a bit more conservative in their approach, as in the Arsenal games, they create fewer chances...The game with Arsenal at Anfield was fairly even.

Now, they know that if they take unreasonable risks against us, we have the tools to embarrass them. So, they'll be more cautious than normal. Of course, they'll up the tempo and try to force mistakes in brief frenzy periods, but they'll try to be solid. The consequences of Luton's attempts to take the game to us and the way Haaland and KDB used the spaces behind the defence will play on their minds.

Basically, their strategy is to compensate their technical and tactical deficiencies with higher (or crazy) energy levels. They'll try to outrun us. Their main weapon is intensity. If we match their energy levels, we are clear favourites.

Walker will start, but Akanji's ability to pass with both feet would be beneficial versus Liverpool's counter-press. It's hard to say if Alvarez will start- he didn't versus United and was the first player taken off in the two games before that. Some will scoff at the idea of starting Bobb, but the moment would not be too big for him, in my opinion, and he has the security on the ball that we'll need. He works hard off it, too. I wouldn't be mad at Nunes, though, as his pace could be beneficial. Some wildly tough calls for Pep to make, but that's why he gets the big bucks.

-------------Ederson

Akanji--Stones--Dias--Ake

--------Rodri--Bernardo

Foden--De Bruyne--Bobb(or Nunes)

-------------Haaland

I feel if we don't win this game it will be very difficult to win the league again this year. We lose, and I think based on liverpool's schedule, it would be quite difficult to make those points up. If we draw, we're definitely still in it but will need to basically be perfect and need help. Don't have goal differential this year so I think win this or we're not champs this year. Not saying it's impossible, just very difficult without a win tomorrow.
