As I said, not a direct comparison.Ibrahimovic was 37 when Konaté made his debut for Leipzig.
I'm not sure you can compare him and Haaland!
I was under the assumption that he played against Ibrahimovic in a Liverpool shirt and the media expected the Swede to have the game his own way, when in reality it was the opposite. Apologies if I am incorrect.
Of course a 37/40 year old loses his pace etc, but he doesn't lose his guile, positioning and game reading. It could be argued that Konate's inexperience could balance that out that lack of pace.
Regardless, Konate looks a useful recruit.
