Maybe today's change is simply about the fact that we're conceding so many chances at the moment. A keeper who is considered a better shot stopper makes sense, when your defence aren't providing the cover that they usually do.

I seem to be the only one who is ok with that lineup. Looks like a 4231 with the players who can counter their pace.

I think it's fine. If there was an easy solution Pep would have found it. Don't want to pile on Doku or Savinho but they've not shown enough to be trusted in these games yet.

Nunez on the bench. Gakpo plays. I guess Slot is emphasizing running and chasing up front. Perhaps counter attacks. Remember, though, that the whole idea behind gegenpress is counterattack just that it depends when/where you start it or FORCE it.

That would be Klopp/Liverpool 101. And Slot has surely learned that from the FSG who are the very, very shrewd Liverpool owners, as I might've mentioned prior.
