I still think it's a question of mentality, Sunday is a huge challenge but I hope the players aren't as downbeat as the majority of posters on here seem to be. It's NOT time to throw in the towel as far as the title is concerned yet, there's a long way to go even if we do lose on Sunday and end up 11 points behind. Sometimes you have to be able to appreciate the bad times as well as the good and stop complaining and blaming every man and his dog.

That is where we're at - none of us could pick a midfield we'd be comfortable with going there given the players we have available
Exactly, we are horribly unbalanced

Like we don't even have Kovacic there, who is somewhat a Rodri backup

Do we have Doku/Savio on the wings to counter attack, where dos that leave Phil? Or do we go with Grealish/Bernardo for solidarity but lose some speed and direct attacking options

For the centre midfield do we go with Stones, who may still be injured or Ake, neither are natural there. Do we play Nunes CM after he's been best out on the wing. Are Rico Lewis or Bernardo too lightweight? Is KDB a liability who leaves too much open space? Gundogan is the only real CM we have that's a CM and he has no legs... but Pep brought him off I assume so he is rested for this game

Genuinely a confusing time, even having Kovacic back would help

I think I'd like to see this, but even then not really

Lewis - Nunes - Bernardo
Savinho - Haaland - Foden

Im not happy with that, and that's who I'd pick

Think Pep goes with the same 6 that started vs Feyenoord

Nunes - Gundogan
Bernardo - Foden - Jack
Haaland

Not looking forward to this, normally optimistic about City chances, but with key players missing and no pace and legs in midfield, I just can't see past a Dippers win. I really hope my prediction is horribly wrong and we turn up and secure the 3 points, nothing would make me happier.
